The Ivors Academy (tidlegare British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors – BASCA)^[1] er ein av dei største profesjonslaga for komponistar, låtskrivarar og tekstforfattarar i Europa. Det har som føremål å støtta, verna og tala for interessene til denne gruppa. Organisasjonen representerer musikkskaparar innan alle sjangrar, frå visesong til media og samtidsmusikk til jazz. Han ha kring 2000 medlemmer.^[2]

Organisasjonen blei danna i 1999 gjennom ei samanslåing av tre organisajsonar – Composers Guild of Great Britain (CGGB), Association of Professional Composers (APC) og British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors (BASCA, tidlegare Songwriters Guild of Great Britain og før det British Songwriters Protection Guild of Great Britain). Den nye organisasjonen blei først kalla British Academy of Composers and Songwriters, før han endra namn til British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors (BASCA) i 2009. I 2019 blei namnet endra til The Ivors Academy, etter låtskrivaren Ivor Novello og The Ivor Novello Awards eller The Ivors.^[3]

Laget deler ut Ivor Novello Awards og British Composer Awards.
